RS Rittel for community and culture

Our sense of responsibility extends far beyond our economic commitment: we support social and cultural life in Gladbeck with donations, with ecological and social sponsoring or we make material resources and funds available. In that way we look after social projects, for example, that help schoolchildren with their choice of career.

Jointly with partners from business, the town of Gladbeck, the local schools and the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences of Gelsenkirchen (Westfälischen Hochschule Gelsenkirchen) we support Gladbeck upper secondary-level pupils in the MINT (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology) area and in vocational orientation via the zdi centre “Engineers + information technologists = future” (E+I=F).

Sports for children and juveniles

We also promote our employees in their social commitment, for example in children’s and youth football, with donations of material and money or vehicles for final outings. In that way, the RS employees Christian Kruse and Hakan Gerceker were, with our funding, able to organize the biggest youth football tournament in the history of the football club “SV Rhenania Bottrop”.
